What? More Animation?

After some digging I finally found the animation that got me hired to work on a commercial!

Can Can't

Animations!

My final for Animation 3

It made me laugh for how unsure I was of it - means it was a success to me!

A commercial project I worked in in class in a group. This one turned out much better than expected for all of the problems we faced with it.

This one I posted the storyboard of below. The song is "Tell Me What the Rain Knows" from a show called Wolf's Rain.

Pitch Bible WIP Stuff

Some WIP stuff for my Pitch Bible. Story still to come.

These ones are for the most part done, however they're subject to change. (Such as, Lif's name was changed to Stanley but I have yet to put that into some of my labels.)

Below are sketches for concept and final design.

Environments

Originally I was doing backgrounds based on my previous assignment, but then I was given an assignment in my 2D Digital animation class that will take me a while. So, I decided to kill two assignments with one blog post.

First:
-This one is fully rendered and is the aftermath of a forest fire. In the animation, all of the smoke will be animated and the camera would pan from down to up.

Second:
-This one is the inside of the forest. The animation involves the regrowth of the forest, as the sun rises.

Third:
-This third one is for a scene in which rain is ending. The rain was not added in this as it will be added in After Effects.

Me being productive.

Maya background concept. This will be drawn onto but I figured it'd help me in terms of perspective and lighting/shading.

And here's some color ideas as well as some very basic background sketch. Not my best but I figured I'd show it primarily for colors.

Aaand Animation Spam!

Now that I know how to embed videos...

Have some of my animations!

This is part of an Exquisite Corpse project in my Experimental animation class, where we had to take our animation and transform it into the first frame of another person's animation, thus creating a loop of awesome.

Sand animation. It was really just whatever came to mind and it was very therapeutic. No story or bases to tie myself down to in this, just things.

This is a found objects project, where I decided to use a theme of faces and chaos.

This is part of my final animation for Tech II. This has been altered since shooting, but over all I'm pleased with this little test. This animation I am taking to final color and hopefully with cels.
