For our second assignment in Characters and Environments we were to draw a self portrait of ourselves. I decided to go outside of my usual style while using the same techniques I've used before for line art, coloring, and shading. However, I normally do not have tapered lines and instead have a single line width. That was the first thing to change, and afterward was much experimenting with shading and background. And viola!
